December 2018: Tips, eNews & More!

Happy Holidays from Our Family to Yours!

With 2018 coming to an end, we are surrounded by beautiful holiday decorations and treats, reflecting on all the amazing memories we have created this year.

We would like to take this opportunity to say 'Thank You' to our valued patients for letting us serve you and your family. It has been a pleasure helping to maintain your oral health and we hope we have surpassed your expectations. We look forward to caring for your smile into 2019, and many years to come.

Use It or Lose It

Has it been a while since we last saw you? Don't forget, your dental insurance may reset at the end of the year, so book your appointment if you are looking to maximize your benefits and we will do our best to fit you in before the year ends. We are also scheduling appointments into 2019 as well, so if you have more significant work that you've been holding off from starting, speak to us about options to split it between your 2018 and 2019 insurance allotment.

Please be advised that our holiday hours will be:

December 24th - Until 1pm
December 25th - Closed
December 26th - Closed
December 31st - Until 1pm
January 1st - Closed

Wishing you a joyous holiday season,

Dr. Stephen Kay, Dr. Melvyn Kay, and the Kaydental Team

Your Child's First Dental Visit

We are often asked; when should a child be brought in for their first dental visit?

As soon as you're comfortable bringing your child by the office, we'd really like to meet them, we love children.

Dentally speaking though, you should bring them in for us to have a look at around their first birthday. Many of their primary teeth will have erupted and we should have a look and ensure everything is as it should be.
