December 2017: Tips, ENews & More!

The weather may be freezing but we can definitely feel the warmth and coziness around us in holiday decorations, cups of hot chocolate, and all the love and smiles during this happy season.

Have you completed your holiday shopping or are, at least, in the process of completing it? We hope that all your deadlines fall away before any holiday festivities.

Please don't forget about your oral health in your busy schedule.

INSURANCE REMINDER
Just a reminder that your dental benefits may run out at the end of the year, so be sure to request an appointment to make the best use of your benefits. If you don't use them, you'll lose them!

Please be advised that we will maintain our regular hours during the holiday season, and only be closed during statutory holidays.

As 2017 comes to an end, we would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to take care of you and your family's oral health.

The most generous compliment we could receive is a referral to your friends and family. We hope that we have surpassed your expectations when it comes to taking care of your smile and would be honoured to do the same for your friends and loved ones.

Wishing you the most joyous Holiday Season!

What you need to know about Snoring and Sleep Apnea

Do feel sleepy throughout the day?
Suffer from headaches or depression?
Does your partner complain about your snoring?

Kaydental is pleased to provide Oral Appliance Therapy for patients suffering from snoring and mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Snoring occurs when tissues obstructing your airway vibrate as you breath during sleep. Sometimes, due to excessive airway tissue and other anatomical problems, your airway completely closes while sleeping. When this happens, your nervous system urgently arouses you just enough so that you start to breath again. This cycle may continue throughout the night. We call this Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The result is a poor sleep pattern that robs your body of the rest it needs to function properly and puts great strain on many other systems and organs including your heart!
